Good morning all...
I figured that this would be an appreciative audience for my happy story.
I have not had a job since I finished school last October. We made the money stretch, but we were getting to the point that it would be a problem very soon.
So I sat down and said to myself that if I am not working, and looking for jobs has not turned anything up, I am going to sit at home, all day every day, reading the Bible and praying as if it were my full time job.
Well, I started on page one. And last night I finished Isaiah. And then the phone rang. It was a job offer. As I was talking to the man on the other end, the phone rang again. Another job offer. One is a temp job starting tomorrow or Monday, that will pay my bills for a while. The other is a consulting job that will start slowly, but could turn into something stable over the next month or two. I think that the two fit together nicely and were as good of an answers to my prayers as I could possibly have hoped for.
Just goes to show that putting your faith in God really does work.
