: I am now involved in a seminar at USF on Christianity and Judaism after the Holocaust, and Anti-Judaism in the history of the Christian church is of course a major consideration. The last thing you want is for me to pontificate on this poignant subject, but I would love to discuss it sometime.

: Incidentally (referring back to the response to Ryan), among those post-Holocaust theologians trying to purify our religion from its checkered past, the re-emergence of the classic theology of wrestling with the stranger as a vital experience of the holy is a major theme. It is, as Prof. Darrell Fasching so well put it, recognizing the presence of the Wholly Other in the acceptance of the holy other. Here Rudolph Otto meets traditional Jewish and Buddhist ideals--another very interesting study. Sometime in May I hope to post a reading list relative to various subjects like this.

As usual, I'm interested! I'll have transportation somehow by fall, hopefully sooner. That's my goal at least. When this happens I'll be showing up at more of these kinds of events.
