It's been a long time

Hello everyone. It's been a really long time. How is everyone? Well we've seen some of you periodically. But since it would take volumes to recount all that has transpired since last we posted, I'll get right to the point.

We are moving to Japan in July. We hope to have internet access while there, but don't know yet. Anyway, we'll be moving from our house by May 31, if all the closing goes through without any problems. Don't know where we'll be between that date and July 30 when we leave. If anyone knows of a place we can rent for a couple months, let us know (house, apartment, camper, we don't really care.).

Also we'll be selling our Explorer (you know the Ford truck), if anyone is interested in that too.

I apologize for being absent and then showing up with needs first out of my mouth, but they are kind of pressing. We had it worked out, but family issues have resulted in that arrangement falling out at the last minute.

We don't yet know where in Japan we'll be going, but should know soon. It will be quite an experience I'm sure. This is something we've wanted to do for a long long time. God is truly amazing when he begins to make things happen. Recently, we happened upon Cari and Sali at a park...kind of a fortuitous meeting, since i had just found out about the password deal on this board (I wanted to tell everyone we were leaving). She gave me the password (thanks). And you would laugh to see how God has given this house to our current buyer. She doesn't even know the odd events that have led to her getting it. I may tell her if we close, but maybe she doesn't need to know. Just an example, we had a family spend more than an hour here loving everything, they made an appoinmnet to discuss an offer, and when they arrived, they sat in the truck because the husband had become extremely worried about snakes. No kidding, he was scared of snakes in the yard, so he called the whole thing off and left! And this is even funnier to me because I'm a Naturalist- there is really nothing to fear here, even the neighbors told him that. It's like saying I didn't want a house with underground power because I may step on the wires and get shocked. And that isn't the only story like that! Anyway, wierd times.
