: how is everyone doing? what's going on in your life?

: Steven and Kara just moved into the neighborhood, which means that it's me, them and Tim & Steph now. Kara and I just hung our work in another art show and she actually sold some photos. Good for her. Still talking to Ashley (Chris K.) and John. They are still working in Fusion Circle and they live together. I guess I've been spending most of my time w Steven and Kara, and Paul, my friend from donwstairs. I actually got to see Ryan, Marcos and Dennis the other day. That was nice. I think about all of you all the time and hope we'll always stay in touch even though I don't get around very much.

: Love ya, Bill

Hi Bill!
I am off for the summer until the beginning of August when my employment begins at USF. Classes don't start till the last week of August, though. Dr. Strange was hospitalized briefly but is doing better now. Pray for him, please.
I have been working to catch up on everything around the house and yard that has been neglected for months (and years) due to school. I have planted some flowers and stuff, and the house actually looks lived-in now.
I am also trying to get as much reading as possible done from the stack of the textbooks I will be using in the fall. Since I will be tutoring and grading 100 students' essays, I figure I'd better have a big chunk of my own grad studies reading done before the term begins. My current reading foci are the early church, the Dead Sea Scrolls, world religions, and teaching methods. I am trying to get organized enough that when the madness starts in August, I will be ready.
I have been spaying my Bengal girls one by one, as I am not breeding anymore due to time restraints. Sonya was spayed 12 days ago, Aria was done yesterday, and Rhapsody will be done in about 10 days. I think I will be placing Aria in a loving home, as it seems easier to give attention to 2 cats than three. Sebastian is not doing badly at all for an old dog. Rush the raccoon, Galadriel the ferret, and the rats Gimli, Clover, and Sage are all doing well, and are all very sweet. They would all like a lot more attention than they get.
We are going to Phoenix for a couple of weeks to see our families, that is, my mom, and 4 generations of Cari's family. Later in the summer we are going to Salt Lake City for Sarah's wedding, and the granddaughters will be here in Tampa for a while. Cari is going to the Keys for a week for some sort of an Oceanographic seminar/experience. (?)
We are now meeting for fellowship at Kat's house twice a month instead of always here. We started a study on the early church that will move through the New Testament. I think this will really make some sense of the New Testament, and demonstrate the unity and diversity of the early church in a meaningful way.
I am planning on doing some more recording also, and want to get an an EP ready for release. We (Jason, Nancy, Kat, Cari, I) are hoping to sing some more around the area. Doing the opening set for the Violet Burning was very cool.
We are looking at moving in 2006 (as you may have read elsewhere), the location depending on where I end up pursuing my PhD. Cari would like to do graduate work at a school with a forestry program.
I know there is more going on, but these are the things coming to mind. Thanks for keeping in touch! Hope to see you sometime soon... :-)
