SAVED was playing at the Veteran's AMC. I had free tickets, but no one wanted to go. Oh well, I wanted to see it since Michael Stipe from R.E.M. produced it and since it was MacCauley Culkin's first that I know of since PARTY MONSTER, which I never saw. As far as Harry Potter, well, I have to deal w all those comments all the time at B&N. It's funny though, how someone will sit there and not let their kids read Harry Potter for religious reasons, and then see them buying a copy of Playboy or Sex in the City. Nothing surprises me these days. The key for me is not to get bitter or jaded when I see that kind of stuff. When I run across those same kinds of inconsistencies in my own life, I will have the power to change them. So, perhaps it's God's grace showing me these things so that I'll become more humble, and hopefully more docile before His Spirit.
