: : : : No, we couldn't possibly front that huge bill at $35 a ticket, sorry. The concert is general admission anyway so it shouldn't matter if the tickets are purchased together or not. Being together is all about if we GO IN together -- early. ;-)

: : :
: : : well, i wasn't asking anyone TO PAY FOR my ticket. just asking if we were going to buy them at the same time, that's all. whatever, can carless guys like me get them online? just curious.

: :
: : I think Ticketmaster has both online and telephone sales. I thought we might save the service charge by getting them at USF. No such luck; still had to pay it. :-(

: I wonder if Vinyl Fever would have tickets without the TM charge, but maybe not for a Sun Dome event. I know people got tickets that way for the pink dots, but maybe its different for shows at the state theater or masquerade.

It depends on the show/promoter, not the venue. I doubt a promoter charging $35 for Sun Dome tickets through Ticketmaster exclusively has made a separate deal with VF as a seller. (Key word here is "separate.")
