Answering the phone at work...it was a masterpiece of mthod acting...but seriously, constructing and writing up to date a family chronicle.

Loving God by Chuck Colson.

I'm thinking about talking the rest of what I haven't read by CS Lewis, which is most of it.

Tokyo Godfathers by Satoshi Kon. It's a brilliant film about the homeless in Tokyo, showing their dehumanization and dispair, but offering a wonderful "classic movie" hopeful vibe and a story of redemption. It shows how God works (directly, not in subtext) in the hearts of the hopelss to bring hope and uses even them to spread his kingdom. If you've never seen a Satoshi Kon film, I highly recommend them. Blockbuster has his two latest, the one I mentioned, and "Millenium Actress".

Hearing my son pray outloud for the first time, and then look at me after I prayed and saying, "Daddy, Jesus is listening!"

Hearing that a friend who once professed faith has all but abandoned it and is seeking validation in her lover.

This beginning of understanding of Biblical justice, and a realization that I'm not the only one who feels this way. For years, I've felt a certain way politically, socially, etc. Now I'm starting to see how it is from God and needs to be purified.

I secretly want to be like Tarzan...no wait, that's not a secret...seriously though, I've learned to like silence.

EVERYTHING!

Cutting everything and moving to Japan!
: 18)Do you like the smell of chlorine in a public pool?
Actually yes. It's one of those redolent smells that brings to mind feelings I had at other times in my life. Another one is that faint gasoline smell under the awning at a gas station at night in the rain, and another is the smell of orange-scented dish soap on your hands after you wash them with it. And if you're really curious I'll tell you what those things remind me of.
