He tied that to my question by saying Cain brought what he thought God wanted and God was displeased and since I'm bringing a guitar to worship I'm bringing what I think is acceptable and will have the same displeasure from God that Cain had.

I don't know you but whoever told you this is a religous idiot, using the referance just to David, should I go sleep with someone's wife and have them murdered to cover it up, then I will have a heart after God's. Tell them to go to a mosk or find something else that is more credible, Keep serving the Lord, in Spirit and in truth, not in that crap you were told by this person, they neede a spiritual enema and need to refer them to www.demonslayer.com I'm sure that we really enlighten them. Sarcasm aside, pray for them, they need it!
