...but I guess not today. Oh wait... Did you mean the other side of the storm? I assumed you meant the other side of the big inevitable poof with which we all have to do. Of course they could coincide...but only if there's a black witch on a broomstick riding the winds and a monkey army and a little dog, too. Oh my.
Friday afternoon Tovah decided to pray that the hurricane wouldn't blow our house away or hurt anything. I guess those 5-year-old prayers are potent. I had all the big windows boarded up and all. Of course now I have all the boards cut and holes drilled in the masonry, etc., so the next time around installation will be much easier.
I am truly sorry for those poor Port Charlotte folks and the others who got hit hardest, though. Jen's mom and some of her relatives have loss or serious damage to their homes. :-( Prayer needed...
