No...They were so happy to see God turn my life around that they were cautious not to say anything that would alienate me or scare me away from God altogether. They do believe very strongly in their doctrine (they've been involved in that denomination since they were children), but they don't follow their church doctrine so blindly that they will deny that God did a miracle in my life. Even amongst narrow minded brethren, many believe in a God that is much bigger than religion.
