: my wife had that with roan. one thing we noticed was that if we went for a walk an hour after any meal that her blood sugar reading would drop. i think the muscles start asking for glycogen (carbs or whatever) and the blood sugar gets pulled out of the bloodstream into the muscles. something like that. we would take a reading before we went on a walk, and after, it was amazing how that little bit of exercise (a 20 min walk basically) would help.
i missed the part where you are on bed rest...
