I think my computer may die any day. I was wondering for those of you who bought your own computers and had good experiences w that, what would you recommend. Although I don't want to rule out auctions and stuff online, I really do not want to wait for something I never SAW w my own eyes, only to have to ship it all back. I was wondering which local stores you all would recommend for price and quality. I am thinking about getting a Mac. What I need is basically a computer to use at home for school and also for internet. I would like a printer and camera thrown into the mix if possible and am not sure what my budget for something like this should be. I'd love to find something under $1000 if possible. I don't need the latest bells and whistles, just something which will run well and operate on a modem (don't have cable yet). Thanks for any tips. Mac users -- I'm your friend.
