In the last year of his life Andy created many pictures of Jesus, especially many versions of the Last Supper, from which this image is taken.
In his Byzantine Catholic childhood Andy Warhol surely encountered many Carpatho-Rusyn Easter Eggs such as these, which I include here for your viewing pleasure. 
One image that Andy repeated several times was this cross. Andy was not guilty of separating religion from art.So, with these images, I wish you a Happy Easter!
