where do they get off? the measures they use are identical to those of the people we are fighting, and supposedly those measures are the reason for our involvement in the conflict to begin with...at least on paper.
oh, but i see the difference...they torture their own people which is a greater sin (tongue in cheek).
there are certainly many extreme right wing americans who have gotten more and more bold over the last 4 1/2 years. and more full of hatred and bitterness and false pride and blind nationalism and countless other profane and vile things. it makes my weary soul wretch and heave dry nothingness from the deapths of my being.
racism is far from over, only shifted. "...we did not end division...we only moved the knife..." -can't remember
However much respect i have for my ancestors and the founding fathers of this great nation, I find myself thoroughly embarassed of many of my fellow countrymen.
shame on them.
