Here are just a few of the many pics I took at Nazareth Village (link below). NV is an amazing reconstruction of life in the ancient town of Nazareth, based on the latest archaeological and anthropological data. It is actually built on one of the hills of the ancient village (which is but a tiny section in the midst of the bustling metropolis of modern Nazareth). I have included a few pics of the terraced hillside agriculture, olive press, synagogue, and a few of the rooms in the houses. On the ajacent hill was a new archaeological dig revealing more of the ancient town. I of course have many pics of that also.

I have hundreds of pics of Sepphoris and Capernaum. I took pics of the Temple Mount and the Western Wall tonight, and will be photographing at Qumran on Sunday. Mt. Tabor, Mt. of the Beatitudes, Taghba, Ginnosaur, Magdala, and Tiberias are on my list. The Sea of Galilee is beautiful. Mount Carmel is close to where I am staying in Galilee--very impressive. I will put together a nice hi-res slide show with descriptions of all the pics when I return. I have hundreds upon hundreds of 12mp pics. :-)

BTW, driving here is not for the faint of heart or the timid, especially in the cities; New York City doesn't even compare. ;-)
