Sure. But if all humans are equal to you, why did you need to even mention the person's race? That screams prejudice, loud and clear. If a white person was waiting at your counter, would you have said "I have to go, another Caucasian is here" ? I think not.

"My" board, you say? Well, sure. The board is mine in that it is my responsibility as the mediator to monitor content. No racial slurs, even if the result of ignorant insensitivity, can be allowed to remain here.
Education can be very helpful in facilitating new perspective and new appreciation for other ethnic groups. Again I will note, for a "quick fix," multicultural awareness seminars can be very helpful.
