If their man is in office, it is God's will, He is in control, and we should just trust and be nice. If the liberal opponent is in office, it is either the devil's doing or God's chastening, and we should be extremely proactive about kicking the enemy's butt and taking the kingdom back. Who doesn't see the theological inconsistency in promoting "Christian" sociopolitical agendas here?


At best we have a large scale case of political pharisaism. At worst, more war and more anti-American hostility. Not to mention, we'll eventually all live inside Wal-Mart.
