god's will?

the person God put over us? maybe. we can debate the will of god and fate and all that. to me it's sort of like saying that it was god's will that someone's dad got hit by a bus. we don't have to be happy about it. we can vote against the guy next time around, and express our opinion in the meantime.

maybe my opinion smells like my asshole. i'm sure it does to some people. saying that, especially in a political context, well it just "stinks". its a good way to denigrate another person. knowing you as i do i would not think that was your intention, but it is insulting.

i'm quite happy that bill pointed this book out, i may actually read it.
