: : : Pray for Terry & Buddy. Terry got out of the hosiptal after an operation Thursday, and is painfully recuperating. Friday night Buddy got bit by a brown recluse on his paw and passed out. Terry had to carry him to the car (causing great pain for her) and drive drugged to the emergency vet. The vet gave Buddy a shot that got him conscious (epinephrine, I would guess), and then cut all the infected (venomized) tissue out of his paw. They think they got it all, but they need to see him every day for a couple weeks to be sure they didn't miss any and he is healing correctly.

I'm at work...I spend a lot of time at work...mainly because my power & water is shut off at my house...and I've been using work as a strom shelter...I just went for a drive...went and picked up some Chinese...The resturant on Madison & 54 was open about the only thing open for miles...Found a citgo gas station in Holiday that was open...Powers is out from Moog Rd to at least Trouble Creek...Street lights are out...hanging street signs are turned sideways in the wind...The little store on Moog & Grand got a lot of storm damage on the gas pump island overhang...theres small debris all over the road. The Big tree behind our shop got sereverly pruned by the wind...The powers gone off here three times, causing me to have to start logging in to the computer all over again....and the storms not even here yet....
