facial hair on politicians, and men in general

Tim, body hair is scary to people since it's uncontrollable and grows in it's own way. It makes people more unique and interesting so I think that's why they want to keep it at bay. Plus, it's another way of taming people psychologically. I used to hate beards due to this subtle cultural influence. I don't think there is anything wrong w shaving, but I do think there is something wrong with it mattering so much. One thing male facial hair reminds me of is breasts on women. Women have various sizes and shapes and men may have various lengths and styles of beards. Of course the way women dress can conceal or reveal more of their uniqueness. Same with the way a man wears his facial hair. More power to all kinds of beards.
