It sure looks like H. Frances is going to necessitate preempting the secret cultic rituals at Kat's house tomorrow. :-(
Pray for Terry & Buddy. Terry got out of the hosiptal after an operation Thursday, and is painfully recuperating. Friday night Buddy got bit by a brown recluse on his paw and passed out. Terry had to carry him to the car (causing great pain for her) and drive drugged to the emergency vet. The vet gave Buddy a shot that got him conscious (epinephrine, I would guess), and then cut all the infected (venomized) tissue out of his paw. They think they got it all, but they need to see him every day for a couple weeks to be sure they didn't miss any and he is healing correctly.
