Hey everyone! I'm so bad with posting, sorry! I hope peeps remember me!
It's been a weird few months. During Frances, a tornado came through here and ripped part of the roof off of my townhouse. Then, the water came pouring through my ceiling. I was due to leave for Italy 2 days after this happened, so I moved my furniture and stuff into dry areas, packed up, gave my key to my parents, and went to stay with friends till I left for Italy. I was so glad once I got on that plane and out of hurricane central.
My Italy trip was nice, for those who don't know I went to visit my boyfriend who was deployed there. We had an amazing time, it was my first trip out of the country and was just an incredible, educational experience. We were mainly in Catania, Sicily, though we went around to other places. I'll never complain about the driving here anymore, it's absolutely crazy over there! The people were so nice though, and of course the food was yummy!
I came home and my ceiling had collapsed, though most of my furniture was fine, my whole office area was ruined. I've just now gotten everything back to normal. It could have been much worse though, I'm thankful the damage was limited to one area. I was thinking alot about y'all down south and praying for you, I wanted to check in but my internet access was messed up for awhile.
Fast forward, things are going pretty well here. Eric will be home in a week (yay!). Skippy the wonder dog is fantabulous, she has "found her place" in the family and her personality has really come out! Such a sweet doggie.
I also have had three kittens camping out behind my townhouse. Their mother hasn't been around, so I'm going to take them to the no-kill shelter as soon as I can figure out how to get them all in the carrier! Any tips? I would keep them but I can't have pets.

So for what it's worth, there's my update. I still suck at posting though. Is there a class for that or something? :P
