the thing is I didn't visualize the accident, all i have is some red paint on my lumber, a headlight, and a car that seems to fit the description based on guesswork as far as what car would take that light. FHP said that without me actualy seeing the accident it would be hard for them to do anything.

However I saw the above said car on the road today for the first time since the incident and is sounds horrible. The fact that it is now running like crap makes me feel better. I shouldn't have, but I actualy started chuckling out loud at the sound. At least they took the worse part of the damage makes me feel a lot better. The next one will be made out of concrete and reinforced steel. I don't want to build it three times. It will also be accompanied by a four foot concrete wall along the easman in place of a fence, to protect Lily and Steph if they happen to be in the front yard durring another episode. In addition i will put the mailbox on the other side of the trash recepticle to make getting the mail a little bit safer, or at least make me feel a little better.

thanks for the advice.

How long is Sara in town for? We'd love to see them, and you of course.

: Did you tell the police that you know who did it and give them the evidence and the person's address and license number? Sometimes, even if the police would likely not have acted on a "lesser" crime, if you present them with solid evidence as to the perpetrator, it forces them to act.

: I had a case where a license plate was stolen from me. To make things worse, the thief was getting parking tickets that were being sent to me to be collected! The police would not act. I took the violation addresses on the parking tickets, set a search perimeter, drove the area late at night and found the car with my stolen plate myself! I then called the police and told them where the thief's car sat at that very moment, and they had to respond. They towed the car. The copy of the police report was the evidence I needed to get the tickets off my record.
